Job Title: Contract Registered Nurse - Emergency Department in Gallup, New Mexico.

Contract Details: Registered Nurse.
Location: Gallup, NM

Gross Weekly Pay: $2520/week. 36 hrs/week.
Shift: Nights. 3x12.. Every other weekend required.
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required. MINIMUM of 2 years of ER exp required.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Contract Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. As a Contract RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment.
Perform wound care and other nursing procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Document patient care accurately and completely in the electronic health record.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate intervention.
Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications:

Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 2 year of experience as an RN in an Emergency Department setting.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in electronic health record documentation.
Strong assessment and triage skills.

Licensing Requirements:
