Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
13-Week Travel Contract | $2,052 Weekly Pay Package (Includes Stipends)

Assignment Details:

Duration: 13 weeks.
Weekly Pay Package: $2,052 (gross, includes tax-free stipends).
Unit: PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit).
Travel Requirement: Must live 50+ miles from the facility.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a clinician skilled in post-anesthesia recovery who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures.
Assess airway, vital signs, and level of consciousness.
Manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative complications.
Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
Provide patient and family education for post-op recovery.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific or compact).
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity setting.
